How do I make sushi imitation crab meat mixture?

Some sushi bars that I have visited have a mushy crab meat mixture in a california roll. One person who was not a sushi chef, said that it may be mayonaisse. A recipe would be awesome!

  2. It is mayo, or maybe even miracle whip. Let me go see if i have the recipe....editing.... yup, 2 Tablespoons mayo and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

  3. Ask the sushi chef, sounds like you are just getting the cheap version.

    Olive oil

    fenal seed

    lite mayo (only to thicken)

    girkin pickles (cut thin)

    Roll mixture with Sushi rice into Seaweed OR onto a seaweed cracker.
