How do I make the group password protected for access to a folder only?

I want to put a file on the site that future generations of group members can access without being a member of this group. This current group is exclusive except for the file folder.

As far as I know, files , photos and database sections are for the members' use only . A non - member cannot view them.

you cant- files in YGroups cannot be made public- they are fo rmembers only. there is no way for you to do this except for an outside file sharing site.
