How do I make the volume level the same for my songs?

I'm sick of hooking up my ipod to my car stereo, have one song playing at a certain volume, then bam, the next song just explodes, and then another song you can barely hear... is there a simple program i can use to make all audio levels even?

iTunes actually has an Equalizer in the menu. It gives you all kinds of different preset equalizations, as well as letting you set your own.  I have to use this occasionally to make sure I don't have that problem. You don't need to buy another program like the other guy said.

Well do you have a Mac or a Windows PC?

For PC there are A LOT of free programs you can get to do sound lvl adjustments.  WinAmp is a good one.  I used to use that when I had a Windows based computer.

For Mac, IÊ»m not sure.  I havenÊ»t found any yet but I havenÊ»t been looking either
