How do I know when they are flirting with me from far away and what signs they show to let me know I should approach and talk to them?

I work in a parking garage in Orlando, FL and see women in there all the time. I have gotten no action from them yet. Even when I test out some of the things I have learned from a book on body language.

(Ie, I tried cocking my head to the side, lifting my shoulder, smiling, and raising my eye brows, and looking at the girls for a few seconds and looking away. as it says to do in the book. I have even managed to say Hello to a few of them, but they all just walk away.)

What more should I do?

I am a Security Guard and people usually feel pretty safe around me. They come to me if they have any problems.

So that is not the problem here, I don't think any way

Stop flirting with every women that comes thur, women recognize game. It sounds like you just want any women to talk to you, your not taking the time out to find the right women for you.  Women like a men to be real and honest. After you speak to a women ask her if she seeing anyone and if not maybe you can get to know her a little bit better. If she seem slightly interested in the idea then ask her for her number or give her yours. Trust me all women is looking for a good companion and even if she say maybe another time, or she not interested chances are she going to watch you for a few days and give it a few weeks and ask again.  But whatever you choose to do, trust in yourself and be real about what you want.

Women don't act like movies portray them.  At the ready for s*x and falling in love with all kinds of weirdos.  Today's woman is wary of strangers and does not flirt instanteously, especially a security guard.  It's your job to be careful of people, so except women to react in the same way.

Gerri, I am sorry, that must be frustrating.  Maybe you just need to be your self and stop worrying so much about impressing or attracting the attention of women.  Be open, honest and sincere, but most of all, let the real you be seen.  Good luck, I hope you find someone who is really great.
