  1. if its a 2 stroke change the top end(piston) every 15 hours, the spark plug every three rides, and change the oil after every 2 hours and fork fluid after every 25 hours, for a complete top end rebuild is around 100 bucks

  2. you need to consistent with any products you use the best oils to use are Maxima . they produce there own product unlike honda who will change there contract with there producer and will then change the product, stay with a race proven product even if it is a bit more, you be safer in the end and save money less brake downs.

  3. Check out this sites:

  4. If the bike is a 2 stroke us the best quality synthetic oil and if a 4 stroke you can afford to use a medium quality oil but it is very important to change it often.  If riding in dusty conditions clean the air filter after every ride.

With the brakes you need to replace the pads as required and this can differ as to when they need changing on what conditions you are riding in.  They should be checked every time you ride and if riding in wet conditions they will need replacing more often.

Replace the rear sprocket and chain at the same time and the front sprocket as it wears.

  5. I use castrol

it is hard to give good advice with out knowing the make and model. 4 strokes require engine oil some have separate transmission fluid. whatcha wanna know about the brakes....
