I'm not too comfortable in downloading a program or more software to delete it. I just installed Norton and it's not getting rid of it.... just blocking when a website tries to pop up.

  5. hi missy, hit start>settings>control panel go to add/remove or if you are running vista hit programs and features go to norton and uninstall then when it is done you will have to restart your computer. when you are done uninstalling it you computer will ask you to reboot or restart hit no there is another step we can do when you get to your desktop hit my computer then right click C:\ and hit properties hit the tools tab then hit search for system errors check the first one check for system errors and reboot then what you will see is that it will reboot then run a very quick scan and see if you have any errors. when you get back to your desktop replace your virus diskett in the dvd slot and reinstall then run a scan and update. good luck hope i have been helpful to you
