  1. i have vista aswell all u have 2 do is locate where the trojan is

e.g : C:/Progam Files and delete it , i dont recommend using norton anti virus , try nod32 or avg much better ;)

  2. 1 find the file that supports the spyware. (go to your start menu and go to "search". do a search on the name of suspected spyware.)

2 delete it, it'll probably have an error message, if it does then go to the task manager ( ctrl, alt, del) and go to processes find the suspected spyware and end process.

3 go back to the file and delete it. it should go away with no problem.

If that doesn't work then use an antispyware software.

There are top 10 the best and latest anti-spywares in 2008.

All are safe and can be trusted and you can download one.

  3. This method is only tested on Windows 2000/XP/2003/NT. But have some difference on Windows 9x/ME, you may also use Twister Anti-TrojanVirus to remove it on Windows 9x/ME.

Step 1: Configure Microsoft Windows Explorer to show all files, because most Virus and Trojan horse can hide itself. If you already did it, you may skip this step.

       1. Click Start, point to Settings, and Control Panel, and then click Folder Options.

       2. In the Folder Options dialog box, click the View tab.

       3. In the Advanced settings box, deselect the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).

       4. Select the Show hidden files and folders.

       5. Deselect the Hide file extensions for unknown file types.

       6. Click OK to save changes.

Step 2: Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, open Task Manager program, click Processes tab, find msstart.exe process, if found, select it and click End Process to kill it.

Step 3: Go to the folder of SystemRoot\Winnt\System32 (If your Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 installed on driver C: then the folder is C:\Winnt\System32), find msstart.exe and directly delete it. Or you can also search for all of msstart.exe files by using Windows Search feature (WINDOWS+F shortcut key), and delete them all.

At the end of the instructions, if all of the steps are completed correctly, then the Trojan has already been completely removed.

  4. Restore your pc to an earlier time...start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore

Choose a date on the calender before you were infected.

    (pc will automatically restart)

  5. Manual removal depends upon which Trojan you have as each create different registry keys.

    Try this first

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan

    RogueRemover:

    http://www.download.com/RogueRemover/300...

Download, install, update, scan and follow on screen prompts.

    VundoFix:

    http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/gl...

Disconnect your computer from the internet

    Run vundo

    Restart your computer

Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again

Also carry out an online scan for free which will also remove many infections:

  6. 1. update Norton

    2. turn off system restore (trojans love to hide in system restore)

    3. boot in safe mode

    4. run your scans.

    5. re boot if clean turn on system restore.
