How do I mix 40:1 for a jet ski? What oil is needed?

I have a 87 kawasaki 650. I was told used 40:1.

You need 2 stoke oil, and a container that gives you the measure on the side.  Otherwise you are going to have to add 1 measure of 2 stroke oil, too 40 of Petrol.

40:1 is the ratio of the mix.....

40 petrol for every 1 of  '2stroke oil'

NOT ENGINE OIL
