Question:

How do I moderate the food for all the fish?

I have three main types of fish food I use. I have algae wafers, fish flakes and betta pellets. My betta usually gets two pellets twice a day, the three albino corys get a quarter of a wafer once a day, and my hatchetfish, neon tetras and rasboras get a pinch of food twice a day. How do I make it so that all the fish get their food without anyone overeating or dirtying up the tank too much? I also have sinking food and dead baby shrimp. (although none of the fish seem to like those.) So any suggestions?

  1. Well, I have a mix similer to yours, tropical with bettas and bottom feeders(Female bettas) I feed a mix of flake and betta pellets or flake and bloodworms every day. I have never had a fish resist bloodworms before, so buy some frozen ones and thaw a cube out and toss it is. Your fish will go wacko! Also, you can put in a whole wafer. I have a school of six corys that devour 3 wafers a day!(3 wafers for the whole school, not for one!)
