How do I modify the flight route in the airbus mcdu?

I am currently trying to change how i get to a waypoint in flight simulator e.g. I wan't to change part of the SID to go direct to Wallesey. But i don't know how to do it on the mcdu.

Press the DIR button in the top-left corner of the MCDU, click on your waypoint using the LSLK, or enter the waypoint required, and the 'bus flies straight to it!
