  1. download net meter.it shows ur bandwidth usage

  2. Easy Answer: GET A NEW ISP!!!

People telling you how much you're allowed to use the internet is one step closer to Communism. Whats next, you can only watch 5 hours of Comcast Cable TV a day before they shut it off? Or maybe you can only take one shower a day and then the water gets shut off? Maybe shut off people's air conditioning or heating if a customer uses more than what the company says is average? These are services WE PAY FOR and companies have no right to restrict it further and try to tell people how to live their lives for their own greed.

They have NO justification at all for doing it either: in their own words they claim 99% of Comcast customers don't use anywhere near the 250GB max, so why have a limit at all? The 1% exceeding it surely can't be putting them out of business, they're just using some of the extra bandwidth the other 99% didn't use.

Comcast is making a huge mistake in trying to limit bandwidth, switch providers if they dare to threaten to stop your service for it. Don't allow them to continue making money with this sort of business practice cause the next thing you know, all ISP's will pick it up to try and increase corporate profits and control us. It's not ethical, its a form of communism by forcing everyone using the internet  to use an equal or less amount of bandwidth. Don't let it happen.
