Question:

How do I monitor my total used bandwidth?

I have Windows 98SE and I want to log how much bandwidth I have used so far this month.

I could use a total bandwidth monitor ever used from this date as I need to monitor my activity in the next month only.

Does anyone know a way to do this on 98SE or software I can download to do this.

Thank in advance.

  1. Gosh, I don't know of any tools for 98 any more.  But a good place to look would be download.com.  I also found something at this site.

Try it out and see.  Your isp should be able to help you as well.

  3. Try DU Meter. It generates daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports of usage. You can get reports in text or html modes. Works nicely in Win98SE also.

  4. Yes go to >

You can set it up with your cap. As well showing a real time display it will keep running and written logs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

It will also work out on a daily basis what you have left to the end of the month and work it out the amount you can use each day.

  5. You make a billion dollars, that's how.

  6. try google-ing 'bandwith monitor', i think its free.
