How do I motivate my lazy husband to accomplish work around the house?

He is reasonably handy, but would just rather watch TV. Our house needs a lot of work and I'm six months pregnant. Every time I ask him to do some work it turns into a big fight. I'm starting to lose hope. We can't afford to hire professionals. We just don't have the money. Please help.

I know this is a problem a lot of wives are faced with. Without sounding kinky, try having a frank talk with your husband about his attitude and tell him that if he doesn't shape up, you will spank him. I know of several wives that have husbands that are lazy or act immature that use consensual spanking to correct immature behaviors. And a spanking is a lot less expensive than a trip to divorce court. Talk it over with him.
