How do I motivate myself while in a slump?

I've been down lately, and I can't seem to get my act together. For a while there I was working out and eating healthy, but now i don't work out, I eat junk food all day. I hate having to get dressed, or go out or do household chores. What should I do to get motivated again, and start feeling better about myself?

  1. give yourself a goal.

    for example when you get done with your chores go over a friends house.

    or go somewhere that makes you happy.

    everyone needs a break sometimes.


  2. do something out of your regular doings.

    go out shopping, buy some clothes, do anything you might like out of town or in the town center.

    breaking the regularity gets you motivated, and you also need to get yourself tired. if you sleep well you wake up well.

  3. If you have a friend who you can get to nag you to get your act together, than that can be a help.

    Having goals and aims is a big help, as you can build your life around achieving them.

  4. Dear, it seems like depression to be. U need to look after urself first 'coz ur emotional and physical features work together. Even u don't feel like u have to dress nice. I used to feel the same way all those years. But, now I realise U must make a effort otherwise depression will hold u back in life. I noticed a household work helps to take the stress away. So, go out get some fresh air and start all over again. Look luck.
