How do I move all the contacts in a category to a group on my blackberry?

My intention is to do a mass mailout (2000 contacts). I've entered them using my Outlook Address Book, but it put them all into a "category" rather than a group. On my blackberry (the curve 8310) I can only do a mass mailout (without entering every single recipient manually) to groups, but not a category. I'm frustrated and need help. Thanks in advance.

aaah mass mailing 2000 contacts sounds spamish to me. sorry, this is unrelated to Yahoo groups and I certainly cant offer you any other help
