How do I move my bookmarks from one browser to another?

Hi folks,

I am using an Apple Ibook G4. My firefox3 crashed numerous consecutive times the other day, so I am going to exclusively use Safari from now on.

I am wondering how I can transfer my book marks from Ffox to Safari?

I appreciate your help.

1) Open Firefox

2) Go to "Bookmarks" > "Organize Bookmarks"

3) Click "Import and Backup" > "Export HTML" and place the HTML file on your desktop

4) Open Safari

5) Go to "File" > "Import Bookmarks"

6) Browse to the HTML file on your desktop and select it the click "open"

go to your browser and under book marks there should be export or in firefox go to organize bookmarks and then export it. when you export it the bookmark file should be an html. then you can import the file into the preferred browser

When you download a new browser there should be options where you can import old bookmarks from different browsers. If not there are folders on your computer which store all the bookmarks and you can move those to the new browser location.
