As I come closer and closer to my final year in high school I keep thinking back to all my previous years in middle school and high school. I always think back to those good old times and wish i could just go back and stay there and never grow old. How can I move on and just accept what my life is now?

  1. I answer by my own experience, it might not the best answer. How can I move on and just accept what my life is now?

By accepting thing that I could not change, to know that in life everything is in progress, nothing stay the same, everything is changing. Who I am today is not something that could not be changed, for better or worse. If we don't move on then most likely life will passing by and we are there for the worse.

But if we keep move on, if we set our goal ahead and learn more, work more, enjoy more, the possibility of who am I in the future is almost without limit. How could not we thrilled by the possibility?

Even as I am grew older I still see that I could change the course of my life for better one. So let the past have their place in sweet memory and history to learn from. Who am I tomorrow is what I need to think about and work on today.

  2. oh man i am in the same situation... have you ever seen the movie "big"?? i want to live like that guy!! with a soda machine and pinball!!  i've also been thinking about death... i hope i get to come back as another person, but still as me... and i wish people were more individual. i hate conformity!! i hate it i hate it!!

anyways, i  know i haven't answered your question at all, but if i had to give one piece of advice, it would be to completely enjoy every moment. i'm trying to really live LIFE during my teenage years, because soon enough i'll be a closed minded old f**t.  and when that happens, i won't want to wear jackets in the summer or duct tape on my shoes or fake glasses just for the h**l of it.  i don't want to become a soccer mom!! i don't want to wear pastels and live in a cookie cutter house!! i don't want to watch lifetime and listen to the "easy listening" station!! there are some things that are avoidable...

hmm i still didn't answer your question. i'm sorry. thanks for reading my rant, though. you seem like a cool guy.  :]

  3. well we all would love to do that but you can move on by getting exited about doing a career that you love doing ,getting married & having a family...not have to deal with school any more unless you do college

  4. Now you can be a man and forget all the good old boy's years!

Shift forward and make your place in this world.

  5. You don't have much choice in the matter. Time moves us onward, ever onward, and if we're wise we will move along with it. Always remember with fondness your past school memories but at the same time be prepared to start planning for a future too. There's a life ahead of you and it's your responsibility to live it properly and well, doing the best you can.

You aren't old, not yet anyways. I would encourage you to begin thinking about the life ahead of you and what you want most out of it.

In the end just give it time to be resolved inwardly. Cherish your school memories but think of the future. It's all out there for you.

  6. just do it.

you cant keep moving forward if you keep on looking back.

im not saying it isnt important to remember the past, because it is good to remember, but im saying dont hold on for too long, understand that from life changing events in time if you just allow yourself to grow you will begin to see a bigger picture and have a better understanding of things.

so if this doesnt make sense to you, sorry. but keep it mind. ;)

but like that one saying...every cloud has a silver lining...i promise you on my life that even through your worst moments, there is at least one positive thing, even if it takes time for a positive outcome. but it is up to you to find it. and its not too hard, it could be the simplest thing like if your grounded from your car, even though it sucks to be grounded at least your saving gas, right? learn to appreciate the small things.

and its hard, but its possible.

  7. Hi

I do was the same like u.. I used to spend my present by thinking of past..

I changed myself... we cannot get back the minute which had passed away..

The change can be done only by u.. Its possible as u are aware of u'r thoughts.. Live this moment..

    The past is Passed

    The future is a Misery

But the present is a Gift.. Thats y we call it as a "present"

    Cheers..

    Good luck to u

  8. Each chapter of life has something nice as well as unpleasant about it. You should always make most out of the present, look forward to the future good things that will surely come and reminisce about the nice moments you've already encountered. Any experience is challenging and unique and the exciting part about it is just to go through it and put it in your memory with all the rest of your past.

Have you considered those years that you are now thinking back about as good and joyful when you were living them as when you do now? Usually it is not so and realize how good something was only when it's over. Try not to make this mistake with moments ahead of you and live at least for the experience of living if you cannot find anything else more exciting to look forward to (however, I'm sure you will find plenty of things).
