How do I note a merger on my resume?

The company I previously worked for was merged into another company and I was demoted to a lower level position. Do I list these companies as separate employment or just list what I do now?

  1. List the current company name.

  2. I would combine them into one employment since you didn't really change employers.  Show it under the current name of your employer but also add a short description of the company (as you should with all past employers) and in that description explain the merger.

    Good luck!

  3. i waould just put the current name of company.   or  type it as  company/company   if you want to put it in. thats how this resume writing service in my area, used this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs.  I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime.  Also they let me pay through paypal.
