How do I get a canadian drivers lisense and also if i buy a worker's permit will i be able to get a job there without canadian citizenship? (not a professional job a just-for-now type of job ^^) I also plan on becoming a citizen to live there permanently someday. Can you have duel canada/US citizenship as well?

  1. Dual citizenship is possible takes time and you might need a sponsor.

  2. Canada and the USA have a reciprocal agreement for pilot and driver licenses. If you have a US license, you should be able to get a BC license as long as you have a BC address. You only have to pass the written test.  You need to show your birth certificate and probably a US passport, if you have one.  No driving test is required.

If you don't have a US driver license, you have to go thru all the items as described by the answerer, Just Chil...

  3. 1) have a address in Canada

    2) take the test in Canada

    3) pass the test

    4) pick up your new license

  4. you cannot get a work permit anyway because you are not 18 years old.

you certainly do not have a skill, or a degree. Canada needs skilled workers, NOT more macdonalds employees.
