I am in college and have 62 college credits so I meet the requirements, I just don’t know what to do now. Do I go to the county board of education or a school district? What is the procedure?

  1. I don't know specifically about NJ, but most states have about the same requirements.  The best course of action is to go to your local school board, ask for the requirements of a substitute teacher, fill out an application and submit it.  With being in college, if you have morning classes, it will not be to your benefit.  Most schools call the morning of need to see if you are available.  If you are not available most of the time, it is possible they will stop calling.  Good luck to you.

  2. Bring 50 bucks, and go wait under the Grand Ave. Bridge and ask for Vinnie.
