My wife was adopted when she was 4 ad has lost track of her foster parents. They are the only ones that would know who her real parents were but she cannot contact her foster parents to find out...

What would an alternative way to find out who and where her real parents be...also free or cheap as at the moment times are hard...

The adoption agency does not exist anymore so we cannot contact that either...

please help...this would mean the world for her

  1. What state are you in ?

Please contact Adoption Jigsaw they are in quite a few states

    Please google them

They help people reunite regardless of where they are or agency's etc

ETA i have added the Qld one give them a call and the NSW one for info

  2. does your wife know what town the adoptive agencie was in? sometimes the townfolk know or 'heard something thru the grapevine' maybe the town could help, the people who used to work there may know, its a start anyway

  3. Contact DOCS in QLD.

They will hold all information from any adoption agencies that are no longer operating.

They will hold all the information about your wife's adoption.

    (well - they should)

Ask for ALL information pertaining to your wife's adoption - and don't take NO for an answer!!

Look through these links for numbers to call -

    Good luck!!
