How do I obtain the frog soldier doll?

Okay kids, on my third playthrough I learned about the Solar Gun so I wanted to get all the dolls to get the gun. Here's the problem. I'm having a hard time tranqing the frog soldiers because they fall down and die. If I hit them with a tranq when they have very little health left then they die. One time I didn't even try to help the squad out, but then someone in the rat patrol dies!!!! This is my 32nd time going through this scene and not getting the frog soldier doll. I'm completely annoyed at this point. What should I do????

keep tying? seriously though, I'd look for a game guide to see if they might be able to offer any helpful tips. check out "www.gamefaqs.com" they might have something on it.
