How do I only download only parts of certain files with azureus?

I want to download only part of the file, but it downloads all of it. Before I upgraded the application, it would just ask me before downloading, but now it doesn't, what do i do?

If it's a .Zip file or .Rar you can not download certain Parts.

If it's a torrent with many parts, go to the advanced menu, double click your torrenting file, and it should crate a new tab.

Click on the Files tab and you will the the different parts of your Torrent.

Right click on the parts u don't want and select download priority, then pick Do Not Download.

you can delete the file from the list.

If you always want the option to choose the files in a download in Vuze (formerly Azureus), then go to Tools>Options>Files and disable the option "Automatically download to default directory (no prompt)".

If you want most torrents to auto open, but occasionally want to choose, then open the torrent manually (Ctrl+O).
