How do I open a .bin file?I downloaded winzip and its not working?

This is for firmware for my linksys router that is not working right now.I can't open the firmware and winzip won't open it either.

  1. Linksys should have instructions for the file use on their website, most likely you also need a firware uploading program from their site too.
