How do I open a homeless shelter?

I am 17 and I really want to open/create/run a homeless shelter. I have no idea how to though. I have my GED so I'm done with school. I need help because I have no idea how to go about it.

Get a key, or if that doesn't work, use a crowbar on one of the windows.

Oh, you mean START one---well, who would pay for the land? Who would pay for the building? Who would pay the staff? Who would pay for the food, laundry, cleaning, upkeep, etc. etc., since it is kind of unlikely that the homeless people who come there would be paying anything?

I understand that you feel sorry for homeless people, but keep in mind that everything you would want to provide for them has to come out of someone else's pocket. Tax money that goes toward building a homeless shelter cannot be used for schools, parks, fire departments, etc. etc.

In addition,quite a few "homeless" CHOOSE to be that way; it's a lifestyle, living off of others' charity while totally avoiding the world of work. We used to call such people "bums". Now, we call them the more-PC-sounding "homeless". But homeless doesn't always mean "helpless".

Kevin L is an idiot as you can see.. I would just go down to a shelter and speak to the manager or owner in charge. I'm sure they can help you
