How do I open the library DVD box?

Question

How do I brake into my library DVD box? We forgot to swipe it and it's still locked. It's the red kind, and when it's unlocked the little dot in the area you open it turns silver. I need to get into it!

Sometimes it is swiped and then locks itself and it can be tapped open, but I've tried magnets, pins, combinations of prying it open and shaking it, and nothing works short of breaking the box totally and I'm sure you can figure out how to break it if you wanted to do it that way.
