How do I open up ports on my router?

^- I asked that question and I am trying to open up some ports.

I got into my router settings but I really do not know what I am doing, and there is no one else for me to go to.

"Port Forwarding / Port Triggering" - That is the only thing that even has the word "Port" in it that I can find, is this where I edit in ports I want to open?
