My brother is a compulsive gambler who has become verbally abusive toward his wife and some others. The gambling is affecting/ruining every aspect of his life.

How do I go about organizing an intervention, and what should we ask of him?

I think you should catch how he's acting on a hidden video camera. You should tell him that you're having a get-to-together at your place and once he arrives, have him sit with everyone and have them tell him their feelings and then show him the tape. I hope it works!
