How do I organize links into folders?

The links are already created in my Yahoo Group, and now I'm creating folders. Isn't there a way to drag-n-drop or another way to put the existing links in the new folders?

  1. I oringinal wrote the stuff below but now realise that all the favourites folder does is automatically creates shortcuts.

So you may come up with something that you convert your links to shortcuts, just like the favourite folder.

    use the favourites menu

you can see favourites with explorer, it is a special systems folder that organises links, and in my documents.

you can use explorer to move things around and create folders.

You can even copy the favourites folder and rename it and put it somewhere else.  Just leave the original one where it is for the net

You could create a new user account and log in and then get your own favourites on Internet explorer that you could taylor to a particular purpose.  Leaving the general stuff on your original log in

  2. There is a way if you are the Group owner or a Group moderator with sufficient privileges.  For each link you want to move into a particular folder, click Cut on the right-hand side of the line for that link.  After you've Cut all the links for this folder, then click on the folder's name to open it.  Then click Paste on the right-hand side of the line of each of the links that you cut a minute ago.

Repeat the above process for each folder that you want to move links into.
