Question:

How do I organize my teenage bedroom?

Okay, I'm 15, and I need my bedroom to be super organized. Here's what I've got to work with:

twin bed

3 drawer chest of drawers

desk with 2 drawers

6.5 ft bookshelf

small closet

I don't really have much money to do this, $50 at the most. I don't need anywhere to sit, because I have my desk chair and a reading pillow on my bed. How should I keep books, magazines, school supplies, and clothes very organized? Thanks!

  1. Put the stuff IN the drawers... I don't understand..

  2. put your books 1 pile your other stuff in another pile and so on

  3. Check out the closest GoodWill or Salvation Army. You will finds TONS of stuff there that  you can fix up your room with.

    Target is good too.

  4. you need to put everything in a specific place where it will always stay there

  5. get rid of junk first and foremost, then you can buy some used of new cheap organizing tools such as shelves and such at walmart, if you know a place that's cheaper, go for it.  don't be a packrat, I was one, but no more.

  6. Hang a rope off your little kiddiie bunk bed and jump in it ha yay 2 points for profanity

  7. Before you organise your stuff, first go through it 'ruthlessly' and throw out anything you haven't used in the last 2 months.

I did that yesterday, and now it seems like I have almost too much room in my bedroom.

Then, when you have finished that, go through the other answers and find the solution which you think you could do easily without spending too much money.

Why do you need your bedroom to be 'super organised' anyway?

  8. Have a section for each specific thing. Like one shelf of the book shelf is for home work and supplies. On the other keep the magazines and books that are for recreation. Only keep magazines for one month and recycle the rest they create clutter. At office max they have magazine storage boxes to hold them. Look at HGTV.com for other organization ideas.

  9. throw all that garbage out, throw the mattress on the floor in the center of the room without a box spring and graffiti your walls. not only will you get laid constantly, but youll save $50

  10. well use your bookshelf to organize all your books and magazines

and your closet for coats or winter clothes

and with your 50 dollars you could use bins that you could

use to organize random things. school supplies

you could go to walmart in the office supplies area

and they have TONS of stuff that you could buy

  11. get a locker/file cabinet. also plenty of LAVA LAMPS.

  12. I'd say hang your clothes in your closet, if you have a rack for them. If not, I suggest you buy one. Also, you can get fancy boxes from IKEA and other stores for cheap, plus you can stack them and they are great for space.

  13. well the twin bed has to go ask your parents to bye you one e-mail me @ rohr_kaylee@yahoo.com

  14. 1. clothes in chest of drawers and closet

    2.  magazines and books in bookshelf

    3.  school supplies in the desk drawers and bookshelf.

KEY:  When you use something put it back.
