How do I overcome my phobia of taking tests?

I always take tests, like the Regents for High School but yet I alway get distracted or I try to find a way to get out of taking the test.. Please someone help me I need answers..

  1. All phobias are best treated by progressive approximation methods. So, for example, if you are afraid of spiders, the therapist will work to get you closer and closer to spiders, first a picture of a spider, then a model of a spider, then a spider on television, then a spider in a glass tank, etc. In each case the fear is progressively diminished.

    So if you have fears of taking tests, you start by setting a time limit with practice questions. Then you take practice tests. Then (if you can) you get a bunch of fellow students together to take a pre-test at your home, with a timer.

    You just get closer and closer to test conditions. Eventually the test will feel not very different from the practice conditions.
