I have been wanting to be a singer since age 3. But the only way to do that is if I can sing in front of people. Which I am to scared or shy or stage fright. I don't really know what it is. What are ways to overcome these things?

  1. I don't think there are many tricks, really. The usual advice ("picture them naked" or "pretend it's an empty room") doesn't really work. The only real way is the hard way: get out there, start off small, and gradually start appearing in front of larger and larger groups. Let yourself be nervous; the more you make it through a performance and earn applause, the better you'll feel. I don't sing publicly, but that's the way I've gotten over my fear of public speaking. You just have to do it.

Stage fright is a personal fear, so you kinda have to solve it for yourself.

  2. just do it!!

  3. Well I know some people get over it by working up to it lke, singing in the shower, then to a group of friends...

    so on and so on.

  4. Everyone starts off by having stage fright. Start off by singing in front of a small crowd of friends and family. During your first performance on stage, you will be nervous as h**l! But afterwards you will feel great :)
