  1. As previously mentioned, you can't take "liquids" into the cabin of a plane in excess of 50ml/3oz.

I always wrap shampoo/conditioner in a plastic shopping bag, then inside another plastic bag.  I once had a 1L bottle of Listerine "vomit" into my suitcase.  All my clothes smelt minty-fresh.  Ever since, I've double-bagged anything that is likely to regurgitate its contents on account of luggage handlers squeezing one more case into the hold.  You'll also need to ensure that anything "aerosol" (ie deodorant or hair spray) has the lid on it.  Don't ask me what difference this makes, but check-in gets uppity if you have an aerosol can packed that doesn't have the lid on it.

Don't try and smuggle "liquids" onto the plane.  They DO check.  I bought a heap of foundation duty-free one time, and forgot about it.  It was picked up as I passed through security to board the plane.  Fortunately, all the bottles still had their security seals around their necks, so I was allowed through; but security certainly can detect liquids.

    Happy travels.

  2. You can put it in your suitcase, the one that goes under the plane.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Any liquids that are over 3 ounces can be put in your checked luggage...you can put any size you want in there.  Liquids in carry-on luggage need to be 3 oz. or less and placed in one 1 qt. size zip lock bag.  You do not need those large bottles of liquids wile you are flying...so putting them in checked luggage works fine.

  4. Um with the new rule you can't I didn't but the girl in front of me at Security Checkpoint had hair supplies in her bag that were over 3 ounces and they made her throw anything out that could not fit in a freezer ziplock bag.

  5. They don't actually go through your hand baggage so just put them inside a mini bag and put that mini bag in your handbag and when they ask you 'do you have any liquids in your hand luggage', just say no because they have no reason to suspect that you do because they don't have anything that detects that sort of stuff. if it is covered while inside your bag, when it goes through the screens, they won't know..so its all good. I do that all the time with make-up when its over the limit. They're not bothered
