My husband and I are renting out our condo, and in about 2 weeks we are moving to our house, which is local. I need to know how to pack, grocery's, clothes, furniture, etc. This condo was our first place so when we moved the first time we hardly had anything. Thanks for your help and advice!

  1. well get a lot of boxes. for each section of your condo put it in a box they label the box or boxes with what section that is.

when it comes with books and other references, put it in a box or boxes and label it with references. when it comes with your stuff and your husband's stuff, put you stuff in a box and label it with your name, with your husband's stuff put it in a box and label it with his name.

  2. Start with the nicknack's and books.Don't over pack boxes of books as they  will wear you out on moving day. Extra bedding ,towels and the like can be put together.Clothes that hang can be put in special boxes just for them if you want to spend the money or can be moved in a car on the hangers.Other clothes should be folded and put in boxes. The kitchen should be the last thing you pack and the first thing you un pack.Canned Food can be packed ahead of time,I always check dates and toss anything outdated.Dishes should be wrapped to prevent breakage.Pots and pans are also heavy so check the weight of your boxes. The fridge should be packed last, and un packed first.Plants should ride in the car on local moves. Most furniture will need little pre move prep.Throw blankets or moving rugs over things you think may get scratched. We always packed the big stuff on the truck first and then stacked boxes on top.Have a safe and  uneventful move.I hope you have lots of friends to help. The pizza and beer party after it is all unpacked is the best part of the move!!!
