  1. There is no way to have an inline image directly from your computer in Yahoo mail on the web. It requires a separate email program.

You can have one that is already on the web. Place the picture on the web. For example Flickr or Photobucket.

For IE go to the picture and right click on it and copy. Do not copy the link, copy the picture. Now go to the email body or signature and paste it.

For Firefox it is a little trickier. Go to the picture in another window. You must be able to see the picture and the email window at the same time. Drag the picture to the email body or signature.

The picture must remain on the web since a link is used and not the actual picture.

  2. The only way to post a picture in the body of a yahoo email your photos need to be web based or on a site like flickr or photobucket then right click on the picture and copy then right click and paste in your email.

This will not work with firefox.

Photos that are based on your computer will not copy and paste in most email providers mail.

  3. I have configured all my email accounts in windows live mail. In windows live mail, there is a facility 'picture mail'. It gives you the facility of pasting a picture on the body of the text page.

    You can do it.
