Question:

How do I pay someone back for a favor they did for me?

When I got to work this morning I locked my keys in my truck. A guy I work with sweated his butt off trying to get it unlocked, he was successful. I told him thank you but I feel he deserves more than that. And suggestions, let's keep this PG rated please. :)

Home made goodies are a nice gesture. Cookies or brownies, or blueberry muffins. (etc) are a nice thank you.

go eat lunch with him and talk to him you dont have to like him just befriend him and nothing more

Take him out for coffee/lunch. And just have a friendly conversation with him. Pay for him even if he says no.
