How do I permanently remove history of websites visited?

  1. Click Tools, scroll to and click Browser Options, scroll to history and click CLEAR URL'S then click Ok.


  2. Click on Tools. Then Internet Options and then under Content click Clear History. This will delete the history of the sites visited but your search history may still remain your whatever search bar you are using. To clear that this is what you do:

    For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  3. To delete browsing history go to tools>options>delete files>cookies>browsing history and delete. then go to the search boxes in yahoo/google/or others click the V right side of the search box and clear search history.
