How do I persuade people?

Specially when I want to sell them something. Are there persuasion techniques?

Do what our government does. Find something that will scare the  beJesus out of someone and offer them protection for a price.

When you are trying to get your point across, do not yell or shout or cry EVER. Remain very calm and composed, and be open minded to what they are saying. Listen carefully and then prove to them why your point is better.

So, do not try to persuade, you just need to find their "hot button" as to 'why' they need your product or service.
