How do I plan a trip to Angel Falls, Venezuela?

Who would I go through to get flight, Ohio to there, what would be good tours to look into, what would I have to take, is it safe? And pretty much any other insight everyone has :) thanks...

Not a for sure trip, I just want to see how much and what all it would take to get there, so if you have any other awesome spots that wont cost me a arm and leg.. let me know :)

first of all you have to get to caracas and either book the whole excursion on the i/net (most of them very serious people) or go to Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz where you take directly the aircraft to Canaima inclusive hotel and meals, you cannot go on your own, it must always be connected with some travel agency, I don.t find it so expensive maybe 400$ for three days/two nights (everything incl) and you get to see something extraordinary that you won.t see anywhere else ?  and it is not dangerous, only adventurous, very nice, I recommend it highly
