How do I play games on my PC using a XBOX 360 controller?

Question

I bought the Beijing 2008 game for my PC .It was made for XBOX!

So then i borrowed my friends controller and now i have no idea how to make it work :/ .Help Please

you need to download software and drivers for it, not sure what they're called though you could probably get them off microsofts website

Depends.  If it is a wireless controller, you need the wireless gaming receiver to use it on a PC.

Note: you cannot play using a play and charge cable to connect a wireless controller.  It will download a driver, but all it will do is charge your controllers battery. It will not detect it as a controller itself.

If it is a wired controller, then it's 'plug and play' and will download the driver automatically.
