  1. the top part is called tablature, it's a way to write guitar parts so people can learn them without needing to know how to read music.

The horizontal lines represent the strings of the guitar.  The bottom E is the thickest string (the top string when you hold the guitar properly) and the top E is the thinnest string.  (They're upside down since that's the way the guitar looks when you're playing it and looking down at the neck)

The numbers indicate the frets to hold down as you are plucking that string, and the '0' means don't press any frets, just pluck the open string.  From looking at this, I would play using your index finger to hold down the second fret (the '2's on the tab) and your middle finger to press the third fret (3's) or it may be more comfortable using your ring finger on the 3 - experiment and find out whatever works for you.

Read & play it from left to right - if you know how the song goes, you should be able to figure out the rhythm (how fast to hit each note)

For the strumming pattern you will need to learn those chords and listen to the song to hear how it goes... I'm sure you can find the way to make those chords with a quick google search but let me know if you want more details!

  2. Let's make this simple.  Hold  your guitar like you're going to play it.  Now, look at the line marked intro.  That is your guitar neck.  If  you just roll the guitar a little so the strings face you, it will match the intro.  The top line without numbers is your high E (thinest) string.  You'll start with the numbers on the left, and move right.  Zero (o) means open string.  X means how many times.  Each number is matched to a letter (string), and is telling you which fret to hold down.

    A open - D 2nd fret - G 2nd fret - D 2nd fret - A 3rd fret - D 2nd fret - G open - D open - E 3rd fret - D open - G open - D open - B 3rd fret - G 2nd fret  - D open - G 2nd fret twice.

Here is the video.  It's a slow song.  You can hear each chord as it changes.  Start out by just strumming each chord in a downward motion once until you can pick up a little speed.

Here's a chord chart.  Play the Dsus2 in the first position shown using just two fingers.  Good luck.
