How do I play vidoes on my TV from my PC (what plug do I need)?

looking to play vidoes on my TV from my PC, I have found a : Crest 3 x RCA RGB to D-Sub Plug Video Lead, will this work? if so will I need a program to do this?

You need a output from your video card. usually its simple s-video. most tvs nowadays have s-video input. if you dont you need a s-video to rca adapter. then again you need a stereo to rca cable for the sound from your sound card to you TV.
