I like her and don't want her to think I'm not interested but caffeine keeps me up at night.

  1. just order something else or just tell her the truth lol. it's no big deal! don't pass up this chance to get to know her!

  2. Tell her the truth.

  3. Make it a Hot Toddy for 9:00 pm.  Tell her you cannot put a price on a good night's sleep.

  4. Ask her if you can reschedule. Simply explain the situation, and make sure to thank her for the invitation.

  5. Can't you just go anyway and grab a bag of chips to chat while she has her coffee..  I don't get it ?

  6. Not that I advocate office romances, but if you are interested, couldn't you possibly think of something such as "For coffee, no, but for decaf or herbal tea, most certainly."

If you flat our decline her, she WILL think you're not interested.

  7. be honest with her and tell her that caffeine keeps you up.  I've been in the same relationship for over 3 years and that is what has kept us together, communication and honesty.  Let her know you are interested and it has nothing to do with her, just that you don't like drinking coffee at night.  Or you could also just be like "well how about I come up and have some water" or something else that doesn't have caffeine.  Just be honest!

  8. Tell her no, but you will come at 7pm for an after dinner drink and she can give you coffee in the morning unless, your declining the invite because she is not your type.

  9. Oh but she wants to keep you up at night. Think about that. ;D

  10. Tell her that you need de-caf.

It's no big deal.  She's not asking you over just to drink coffee; she wants your company.  She wants to get to know you outside of work.

There's no reason to decline, unless you don't want to be around her.

  11. Just be honest, and ask if she has anything non-caffeinated to drink :)
