I have gone to create profile and edit my profile on 360. And I have checked time and again, but for some reason I can't find where I put the places I've studied, places I've lived and so on. Can someone help?

  1. If you're age 18 and under, some sections (like where you had lived and where you went to school/where studied) are not included in the Profile Information section (which is on your Top Page/My Page) for safety reasons. The "Current Location" section may be missing in the "Basic Info" settings page as well. You can always add the information to your "About Me" section of the profile module (limit of 150 characters) or in a blog entry.

If you're over age 18 and the profile module sections are missing in edit mode, then you may be out of luck. The Y!360 team is no longer fixing bugs, so you will have to wait until the service transitions to a new platform in the 2nd half of 2008. Perhaps the bug will be fixed then. Read the Y!360 team blog for more information: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 .

NOTE: The age range where there is page restrictions is age 13 to 17. I include age 18 because sometimes Yahoo does not recognize birth dates correctly (for whatever reason), making some 360 pages of age 18 users restricted as well. If you provided Yahoo with the wrong birth information upon creating your Yahoo account, that can affect what sections you see or don't see as well.

Again, this is not the age that you put on your 360 profile. Restrictions are based on the birth date that you supplied to Yahoo upon the creation of the Yahoo account, which can't be changed. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/acct/ba... . You would have to create a new Yahoo account (and thus a new Yahoo! 360 space) with the appropriate birth date to see any changes in restrictions.

UPDATE: If it's a glitch, Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in the second half of 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details or click on the "Yahoo! 360 News" link on the upper right corner of your 360 space. However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.
