How do I practice floating in water without moving or to stay stationary without swimming and keep my heads up

  1. I went through my open water course last year and their are a few different ways to do that.  But the main thing to remember is relax and you need oxygen in your lugs to float.  Just float how ever you like best.


  2. You have to be as buoyant as possible, which means taking nice, slow, deep breaths to keep your lungs expanded, and trying to make a nice wide profile in the water with your arms and legs out to your sides. Also, if you wear buoyant clothing like a wetsuit, you'll have an easier time of it.
