Question:

How do I prevent MAC fluidline from hardening?

When I bought it 2 months ago it was soft but now the part I have scope out seems to get hard. What I mean was, I was afraid that the main pot would harden or contaminate so I scope a little of the Fluidline out of the main pot and place it in a small jar. However the little bit seemed to have harden, the main jar is still soft and intact.

I screwed it quite tightly after I use each time but still the little part still became hard- how do I prevent this? Can I spray something on it?

  1. The jar you put it in isn't airtight enough. Mac's own jar is made to stop this happening, and obviously what you put it in isn't. That's it. I tried to do this but it didn't work. Just use it straight from the jar, it'll be fine. If you do have an eye infection at any point, you can just scrape of the top layer of it and wait until your eyes have cleared up before you use it again. It'll be fine, I've been using it for about a year now and I've never had any problems.
