How do I prevent duplicates from showing in my playlist.?

When I create a playlist (with say 100 songs) then I resort it by genre or rating, after it resorts, my playlist has 200 songs - basically duplicating my original playlist. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how to prevent it but I have the same problem occasionally.  The last time it happened I couldn't delete the duplicates so I deleted the playlist and tried again the next day.  It was fine after that.

  It's a problem that comes and goes.  If you're not trying to make a playlist of new downloads you can also try making the playlist while signed out.
