  1. To be quite honest I barely know much in this area. But recently I've been successful at it.

Upon accessing your router's IP address (through the computer with direct access to the internet, if you have one)- you'll be able to play with its settings. To my knowledge, you should make WEP Keys there. Once you've finished there go to your Network Preferences (on the Mac). Find the network name and use one of those WEP Keys you set in the password field. You should then be on a secure wireless network.

    Or I don't quite understand...

  2. I live in your underwear drawer.

  3. Macs can't be hacked.

    Don't you watch TV.

  4. Simple answer:

Your files are not shared by default unless you mark them as shared. Just make sure that the person who can access those files is ONLY you that means removing rights for network admin from the group of allowed people who can see your files.

  5. back them up on a disk& delete whats on your computer

  6. On OS X

If you go to the apple on the top left hand go to System Preferences then go to sharing and uncheck file sharing.

  7. ummm well if you have windows live and request remote assistance i could fix for you but most people dont like it because it alows me to have control of your comp but i could also just walk you through it

  8. don't put them on the network..
