How do I prevent my personal address from appearing in a search?

In options on the mail page enter account info. Use the edit tabs to delete that info in the public info section.

Lots of things. 1. Don`t make profile available to public. 2. Don`t sign up for things using that email address. 3. Don`t participate in a Blog using that email address as ID. 4. Don`t participate in Yahoo groups that you will post to others using that email address. 5. Don`t tell others your email address that you don`t want contacting you later. 6. Don`t IM showing your first part of email address as your ID. 7. Never reply to a Spam email. 8. Don`t show your email address to the public so they can contact you, such as Yahoo Answers. 9. The list is endless.
