This crappy water puts red stains all over my rocks, sidewalk and patio. How do I (a) prevent stains and (b) clean the stains once they are there?

  1. Ask the water to please leave and go to your neighbor's house?

  2. get a water conditioner that uses potassium permanganate to oxidize the iron and manganese.

  3. You could have your water cascade in the air and over some thing before you use it to take minerals out.

  4. I use this product both indoors and outdoors.

  5. The sulfamic acid cleaners are not so good for your plants if you have any near the rock and cement you are cleaning.  They are also hazardous to you with long time usage.  How about a simple in line filter?  Inexpensive and easy to install.
